• Lizzie came to us from Robyn Wallis' Rokeena Kennels.  I met her mother Annie when Robyn bought her to work.  Well I fell in love, and announced that night that I wanted a Gordon Setter.  Matthew reminded me that we had agreed not to get any more dogs until the boys had passed on (they were only 2 and 3 years old at the time!)  Needless to say I got my way, and when Annie had pups we took on Lizzie.

What a handful.  Lizzie has always had attitude to burn.  She likes to do things her way, and unless you can make her think it was her idea, she is not interested.  Having said that, she is titled in Agility (both ANKC and NADAC) and Flyball. and has qualified as a 'Canine Good Citizen'.  She has also starred in a pet care DVD - pulling washing off the line and jumping on people - all trained behaviours of course!!

I had never planned to show her, but Robyn insisted and helped early on by showing her for me.  Well winning is contagious!  Lizzie started her career by winning Baby Puppy In Show at the Victorian Gundog Club Show and has never looked back.  She has won numerous Best in Specialty Show and Best in Show awards and was ranked Number 1 Gordon Setter Bitch in Australia 2005, 2006, & 2008, taking a year off showing in 2007.

From her only litter, she has two Australian Champions, an American Champion, and a Polish/German Champion (who was also World Veteran Winner 2013).
